Psycho-ex just proposed to his girlfriend (at Lilach's bat mitzvah celebration, which we did not attend) and she said yes...
One of the best things about this is that he's moving away :-) (Unfortunately, the kids will still have to go there and she really doesn't like 2 of them and said - just last week - that she would never move in with psycho-ex again because she can't stand them - yes, she said this to their faces...)

my MIL is getting worked up about our kids' b'nei mitzvot. Told her to chill, it's still 5.5 years away. LOL
Oh, good grief. This sounds very complicated. I hope it all works out...

well for one thing how annoying that he stole the spotlight at her bat but to then aim it at the wicked stepmother? i hope she had a great celebration in spite of it.
my sister and i once overhead our stepmom yell at our dad "i married you, not these effing children!" years later i understand that she was just coping with getting into more than she bargained for, but let's just say it makes for good insurance that she'll never be able to step into your shoes!

Just think, the worse she behaves, the more they can appreciate YOU!
